SAILING ADVENTURE THERAPY

FOR VETERANS BY VETERANS

Skeleton Crew Adventures is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing transformative healing experiences for veterans and first responders living with Post-Traumatic Stress (PTS). Our mission focuses on offering these individuals opportunities to heal at sea through research-driven methods rooted in adventure therapy.

Since its inception, Skeleton Crew Adventures has led hundreds of sailing expeditions and provided in-person PTS seminars to over 3,000 active military personnel and veterans.

Through these initiatives, Skeleton Crew Adventures continues to harness the therapeutic power of the sea, promoting resilience, confidence, and a renewed sense of purpose among veterans and first responders facing the challenges of Post-Traumatic Stress (PTS).

What is Adventure Therapy?

Adventure Therapy is a form of experiential therapy that uses outdoor activities and challenging experiences to promote healing and personal growth. It is often used to help veterans and first responders struggling with PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges by immersing them in nature and engaging them in physical, team-based, or individual challenges.
