Our Approach
Since 2016, we've been navigating the waters of Adventure Therapy, guiding transformative sailing expeditions across the globe. Based in the coastal community of Kemah, TX, we offer both inshore day-sail training and immersive offshore missions, all led by experienced captains.
Our programs aren't just about learning to sail; they're about harnessing the therapeutic potential of the sea for healing and personal development. Combining adventure therapy and skill-building, our approach promotes well-being and recovery leveraging the natural world’s restorative effects.
Tailored Programs

Inshore Sails
We offer two-part sails on Galveston Bay, each lasting 4-6 hours: the first introduces sailing basics; the second focuses on technical skills and team-focused sailing.

Coastal Sails
Overnight coastal sailing from Galveston to Port Aransas and back, each offering hands-on experience with anchoring, standing watch and daily life on a boat.

Offshore Adventures
7-14 day offshore sailing adventure, mastering navigation, weather forecasting and deep-sea sailing essentials for a comprehensive oceanic journey.

Advancement & Growth
We guide veterans towards sailing mastery and potential certifications, culminating in a Captain's license that offers a way to give back and forge a maritime career.

S/V Encore – Advanced Sailing & Racing Program
This program takes everything SCA stands for—teamwork, resilience and high-stakes adventure—and applies it to competitive inshore and offshore racing. Aboard S/V Encore, you will master advanced seamanship, racing tactics and navigation as part of a high-performance team.
This is your opportunity to gain hands-on racing experience, refine your leadership and seamanship skills, and form the deep trust that only comes from competing together at sea. S/V Encore is seeking dedicated service members to compete in premier Texas regattas through 2026.
